AFFAP operates a 50 MT per cycle dryer in Aylafoun Farm capable of drying lemon, mango, banana, okra, onion and leafy green veggies. The dryer was designed & supervised during erection by Prof, Mohamed Ibrahim Abdelkarim, a renown expert in drying techniques from Food Research Centre, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum. The dryer is powered only by natural sunlight.
Making use of Aylafoun farm location on the top of the natural Elfadneia Aquifer in East Nile County, Khartoum & for the full utilization of the top quality natural water, AFFAP development plan includes installation of the water ozone sterilisation, bottling and ice making plant.
Natural honey production bees colony integrated with the plantations.
Organic fertiliser production using animal & poultry drops mixed with farm cellulosic materials from the farm trees & veggies.
To adapt to the new trend of agritoursim, Abugroon Farm was enhanced to host The Green Lodge managed under Habitat & Lifestyle BN.
Projects under implementation, tomato processing plant, oil extraction unit from moringa seeds and eucalyptus tree leafs.
